Guyana/China Business Council offering sponsored courses

THE Guyana/China Business Council (GCBC) is, currently, receiving applications from persons who wish to participate in two fully sponsored courses to be conducted in China.

The programmes are:
* ‘Radio Broadcasting Techniques for Developing Countries’ over 45 days, from July 17 to August 30, 2013 and
* ‘Environmentally friendly fertilizer Production- Application and Demonstration’ over 42 days, from October 15 to November 25, 2013.
Applicants are now required to submit written applications to the Guyana Manufacturing & Services (GMSA) Secretariat, Lot 157 Waterloo Street, South Cummingsburg, Georgetown, before Friday, May 17, for evaluation and selection by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Guyana.
Officials there have advised that applicants must have some knowledge and experience in the respective fields and should be no older than 45 years.
In addition, every application must include the applicant’s basic biodata, such as date of birth and their contact information, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.
The GCBC also requires the persons who have already indicated their interest to submit formal applications with the relevant information before the closing date.
The courses and others that include television broadcasting techniques are conducted annually in China and are part of the Chinese Government’s programme to contribute to the development of countries in the Caribbean region and elsewhere in the Third World.
