DIGICEL Guyana reopened its store in Sheriff Street, Georgetown, yesterday, with a new look but the same good service. Speaking on behalf of the cellular giant, Head of Sales and Distribution, Ms. Nalini Vieira said it is another flagship with new fixtures and much more space to serve customers.
She said it was the relaunch of the business since they began upgrading their stores last year.
Vieira said, usually, a store life is between four and five years and the upgrade started in 2012. Since then eight stores were relaunched and the programme will continue with 18 more.
She said Digicel is always doing it as they want to give their stores a new look, all for the benefit of customers.
Vieira disclosed that, so far, Digicel Guyana has relaunched two other stores, Cellworks at Regent and Light Streets, also in the city and another at Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara.
Currently, the company is undertaking renovations at Bartica and will see the same thing being done at Rose Hall and Corriverton, both at Corentyne, today.
Vieira said they have already done similarly at the New Amsterdam store, in Berbice, as well.
In keeping with its policy to bring good things for customers and to facilitate that, Digicel has several promotions running and will introduce newer ones in August and for Christmas, she indicated. (Michel Outridge)
