SEAN Rodericks, 17, of Lot 71 Middle Road, La Penitence, Georgetown, was remanded to prison yesterday, by Magistrate Judy Latchman, on a charge of armed robbery.

Particular of the offence said, on Saturday, March 30, at Electronic City on Sheriff Street, while armed with a gun, he robbed Tiffany Peroune and Marty Khanai of 35 cellular phones valued a total of $10,655,000, property of Electronic City.
Police Sergeant Vishnu Hunt, prosecuting, said the defendant was positively indentified on an identity parade, after he was arrested and taken to the crime scene.
The prosecutor objected to bail, not only because of the nature of the offence, but because of the weapon used and the quantum of booty involved.
The defendant will make his next court appearance on April 17.
