SHEMRON Saul (no address given) appeared before Magistrate Allan Wilson yesterday and pleaded not guilty to indictable charges of larceny by clerk. One charge alleged that, last February 6, in Georgetown while employed as a clerk at Toucan Industries Incorporated, he stole $91,065, which he received for his employer, Andrew King.
The other allegation against Saul is that, on January 25, he stole $20,000, also belonging to King.
The defendant was put on $200,000 bail and must report to the Police Criminal Investigations Department on Mondays and Fridays, at 09:30 hrs, until the trial is concluded. (Geeta Rampersaud)
