Illegal miners did not adhere to police instructions

LET me state, I am not a member of the Guyana Police Force. I somehow have a great dislike for the way some members of this service operate. I am also a law-abiding citizen, so after this big story,  I got curious and watched the video of a police officer delivering some lashes to persons that were mining illegally and did not adhere to the instructions of the police in uniform.

I must point out that citizens MUST adhere to the instructions of members of the Guyana Police Force in uniform. These persons as far as I can see were disobeying the instructions of the police. The police corporal MUST be commended in showing great restraint by not raining blows all over their bodies instead of the feet and calves of these criminal-minded persons. The only reason the police went there, is at the behest of the GGMC. What I am upset with is that the police corporal did not have the technique of my former Great Headmaster,  Sir, Austin “ Toukie “ Costello , Sir Goodluck, Miss Valerie Rodway, Sir Clifton Adolphus David (Browsy) or the evergreen Sir Baptise, because if he were really beating the ingrates, after the first real good lash they would be running up the road howling.
I must commend the good police corporal for not going overboard and striking these hooligans in the head, back and face. I want all those in-the- closet purists,  that are crying foul, to suggest what the police should have done when a citizen does not heed and the lawful commands of the police in uniform, in the lawless jungle.
Some might just say, “Shoot them all and burn the evidence?” As I see it these “helpless people” will survive, to come back and steal our natural resources without paying taxes! Good job Corporal.  I heard the name Melville mentioned, wow! Now memories of the Lethem Uprising come to mind, what an endorsement to getting things the illegal way!
