GROUPS will take to the stage in the next phase of the Guyana Telephone & Telegraph Company’s (GT&T’s) 2013 Jingle & Song Competition.
The final auditions, in which some 150 persons took part, were completed on Thursday afternoon with two categories qualifying, 14 in the Bollywood segment and 64 in the English segment.
This year’s contest has brought a lot of new talent to the fore, and keen rivalry is expected to challenge the judging panel.
The judges: Shawn Bhola, Gordon Moseley, Joel Ghansham and Charmaine Blackman-Alves, have been working with GT&T’s commitment to ensure keen competing standards amongst young, talented Guyanese.
Group performances are scheduled for the Georgetown set of qualifiers before they move to the duo stage, having completed their participation in Linden, Essequibo and Berbice.
Television recordings of the finished auditions would be aired on LRTV Channel 10 in Berbice, and on NTN, HJTV and NCN in Georgetown tomorrow from 18:00 hrs.
