GLEN Dey, of Lot 219 ‘B’ Field, Sophia, Greater Georgetown, appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman yesterday, facing a charge of being in possession of an offensive weapon.

He pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which stated that, on February 22, he had a knife and could not give police a reasonable explanation for having it.
The defendant told the court, police held on to him whilst he was walking but he did not have a knife.
He was granted $10,000 bail until March 6.
