ROYSTON Griffith, 20, of Lot 117 Campbellville Housing Scheme, Georgetown, pleaded not guilty to charges of unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition without licences yesterday.

Before Magistrate Alex Moore at Sparendaam Court, East Coast Demerara, it was alleged that, on Saturday, February 23, the defendant had a .32 revolver along with three live matching rounds, without being the holder of a firearm licence.
Cadet Officer Fredella Boyce, prosecuting, objected to bail, on the grounds that the defendant has additional charges pending and he was remanded to prison until March 14.
