Guyana to be featured in Washington Diplomat April issue

POLITICIANS in and out of the White House, including the United States Congress, diplomats, attorneys and financiers in Washington D.C will read all about Guyana in the April issue of the Washington Diplomat, the premier flagship newspaper among the D.C. diplomatic community.
News Editor Larry Luxner believes that Guyana’s political configuration and

ongoing efforts to attract investment, paltarticularly US investment, will make an interesting feature for usual readers of the Washington Diplomat.
The feature on Guyana will also coincide with the newspaper’s cover issue this month that focuses on rum subsidies in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) meeting that is also scheduled for April.
Luxner, who was accompanied by Nadira Beharry on a courtesy call on President Donald Ramotar yesterday, said, “The timing is ideal,” with the goal to educate readers with factual and impartial material.
The Washington Diplomat is distributed to 175 embassies in D.C. with a reading audience that includes World Bank officials, Fortune 500 Companies, lobbyists and law firms.
