RHONA Khadir (no address given) appeared before Magistrate Sueanna Lovell yesterday, charged with unlawful assault. She pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which said, on Wednesday, February 20, in Pere Street, Kitty, Georgetown, she unlawfully assaulted Carl Denny.
However, the virtual complainant said he does not want to proceed with the matter, but has decided to rather end the relationship he shared with the defendant.
Denny told the Court that he and the woman had an argument and during ‘a scramble’, they bit each other.
Police Corporal Denise Booker, prosecuting, requested that the defendant be placed on a bond and Khadir was bonded to keep the peace for six months.
