TRIPLE ‘C’ Entertainment Agency will host the first ever ‘Mahaicony Jamboree’ at Mahaicony Centre Ground, East Coast Demerara on Sunday, March 31 (Easter Sunday). The event will feature several exciting recreational and entertaining opportunities and villagers are greatly anticipating the Miss Mahaicony Beauty and Intelligence Pageant that would climax the proceedings.

The contestants are required to be between the ages of 18 and 25 years and would be competing in sportswear, evening gown, and swimsuit categories, as well, although the intelligence segment will, greatly, determine the actual winners.
The winner of the title will be awarded a trip to the exotic Splashmin’s Resort along Soesdyke/Lindewn Highway, a gold necklace, one cellular phone, a beauty hamper, two photo shoots and $20,000 cash.
The first runner-up is to receive a beauty hamper, a pair of gold earrings, a photo shoot and $10,000 cash and the second runner-up a beauty hamper and a gift certificate, compliments of Giftland Officemax.
The third and fourth runners-up will be given a beauty hamper, each, for their efforts, said the sponsor, Guinness Power.
