JOHN Hercules, 26, of Lot 92 East La Penitence, Georgetown, appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman yesterday, charged with attempting to commit a felony. He pleaded not guilty to the charge, particulars of which said, on February 16, he attempted to steal one electronic crosscut saw valued $50,000, property of Ramnauth Ragu.
Police Sergeant Vishnu Hunt, prosecuting, had no objection to bail and the defendant was allowed to post $80,000 surety until March 13.
