University graduate without a job

I AM appealing for your help by way of this letter to find out why I am without a job.

I am a trained teacher for six years and recently graduated from the University of Guyana (UG), November 2012, with a Bsc. in Biology and a Dip. in Chemistry.
I was granted secondment, from Region 5, to a school in Georgetown to allow me to attend classes at UG. Upon the successful completion of my degree programme, I chose to apply for a transfer from Region 5 to a school in Georgetown.
After some initial hiccups with my transfer request, it was subsequently granted, and thereafter, my problem really began with the Teaching Service Commission, to the extent where I am not currently working.
This is because a very senior officer at the said Teaching Service Commission instructed me that I should resign my appointment forthwith.
Mr. Editor, out of ignorance, I have complied and have since sought to have my situation reversed to no avail.
I am presently experiencing severe economic hardship, since I am without a monthly salary.
Teachers with my qualifications are considered a scarce resource, hence I cannot understand the action of the Teaching Service Commission official.
