I have had the opportunity to meet the late Mr. Aubrey Bishop from time to time when I functioned as a member of the Committee of the National Library a few years ago.
I was struck by the kind service rendered by this man and my interactions with him, though mild, have left with me an indelible impression that I have been blessed to meet such a humble person.
I regret his passing; Guyana, in my opinion, has lost a special son.
