THE construction of the Marriott Hotel, which is so far being funded by Guyanese taxpayers, does not involve any local construction workers says KN. According to that publication, neither the company, Shanghai Construction Group, nor the government is saying why. I do not blame anyone in or out of government for giving KN reporters the merry go round and not answer to them since reporters’ views will become the news. KN report said: “The government had boasted that the project, which is costing some US$60 million, would create hundreds of jobs; but months into construction, Kaieteur News saw no Guyanese workers at the site after repeated visits. The first visit was made two weeks ago; and then another visit was made a week ago.”
I would like to ask Glenn Lall how many reporters he sent on visits to City Hall to investigate corruption there?
I am willing to bet Glenn Lall and his reporters dare not go into City Hall to get to the bottom of that cesspool of corruption that is taking place there.
Glenn Lall knows exactly which limb to jump on. For the PPP’s limb it’s easy pickings for Glenn Lall, but not so easy to jump on the PNC’s limb.
Glenn Lall knows he will have to run and leave Guyana immediately for any visits to dig at the PNC’s ant nests.

The former president did not say hundreds of jobs for Guyanese workers only. A pie in Glenn Lall’s face once more.
Glenn Lall very much believes that the former President Dr. Jagdeo is a major shareholder in this project..
But Glenn Lall, who cares who are shareholders and who are not? No one is asking you to go there.
What people want is a brand-named hotel with class to stay in since they do not care even if the former President owns the hotel..
What thousands of Guyanese want to know is how you Glenn Lall got so rich; was it from selling bora at the market or selling Guyanese to foreign lands?
Glenn Lall, the same way you are investigating others remember there are those who know you and knew how you got rich and might one day expose you for who you really are.
