MORTIMER Melville, called ‘Dellon’, and co-accused Jevon Ismond, who were charged with the murder of Nazir Ali, allegedly committed on August 21, 2007, were freed by a Demerara Assize jury on Tuesday night. The duo was later discharged by trial judge Madame Justice Dawn Gregory.

Lawyers representing the accused were Mr. Huckumchand and Mr. Compton Richardson.
