PNCR General Secretary Oscar Clarke was shot last evening in the Sophia area.

Reports reaching the Guayana Chronicle say Mr. Clarke went to the party’s headquarters, Congress Place, and said he had been shot.
He was rushed to the Mercy Hospital in Georgetown, and his condition is reported to be not serious.
