QUALFON, the leading international Call Centre in Guyana, launched here seven years ago with Mexican ownership, has within this period recorded remarkable success, and is moving apace towards expanding its operations here.

altLocated at Beterverwagting, East Coast Demerara, the company opened its doors for business in November 2005, and started operating with an initial batch of 50 employees, all trained in-house. Its employees have now soared to more than 1,700, and there are plans to open up a second facility, dubbed ‘Guyana 2’, within the next quarter.  That facility, now nearing completion, is located at Sparendaam, East Coast Demerara.
The entity is thus contributing significantly to ongoing job creation for thousands of Guyanese.alt
Last Friday, Chairman of Go-Invest, Mr. Keith Burrowes and Export Promotion Officer, Ms. Uchenna Gibson, made a visit to Qualfon’s facility at Beterverwagting.  The purpose of the visit was to have a look at the operations and review the support offered to the company by Go-Invest.  Qualfon is but one of several investors – both local and overseas, to have been supported by Go-Invest.
