GUYANA Telephone and Telegraph Company (GT&T) is gearing up for the biggest Jingle and Song Competition, so far, with bigger lights, props and venues. With some of the most well known names in local production, such as Hits and Jams (HJ) Entertainment; Video Mega; Spotlight Productions; Artistic Production and Dtshaka Production, an unforgettable experience has been planned for both the participants and the audience.
Locations across Guyana have been booked for initial auditions and the beginning categories of the contest and HJ cameras will offer the opportunity to explore Guyana as the rivalry continues.
GT&T is aiming to highlight some of the country’s most beautiful hideaways and, at the same time, discover fresh, raw talent.
Throughout this fantastic journey, tremendous anticipation will be occasioned, especially on the evening it all comes down to the grand finale, May 11, at the National Cultural Centre.
Fans and supporters can look forward to a grand event with a blue carpet arrival and a pre-show at the entrance. There, patrons can even share their expectations for the night as a special prize will be awarded the best dressed individual.
Also, with the return of judges Gordon Moseley, Charmain Blackman, Sean Bhola and Joel Ghansham, fans are guaranteed a fun-packed show. The delightful Nuriyyih Gerrard will serve as the host.
GT&T is committed to exploring and developing talent through this competition which has evolved since its launch in 2006.
