DIRECTOR of Sport Neil Kumar yesterday told Chronicle Sport he is pleased with the progress being made on the National Resource Centre (NRC), which is currently being constructed in the compound of the National Racquet Centre on Woolford Avenue.

In an invited comment, Kumar said the work is coming around pretty well on the facility, for which both Minister of Sport Dr Frank Anthony and Permanent Secretary within the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport Alfred King, expressed their pleasure as well.
Kumar further stated that Dr Anthony has instructed him to commence the search for adequate personnel to be employed within the NRC, as Dr Anthony aims to have it functioning from the first day after completion, according to the contract.
