Trio in $2M burglary case refused bail

EON Griffith, Kifa Small and Sherwood Grey (no addresses given) appeared in Court yesterday on a joint break and enter and larceny charge. Before Magistrate Leron Daley, they pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which stated that, last December 31, they broke and entered the home of Osaffa Yarde and stole $2M.
Police Corporal Vinetta Pindar, prosecuting, was successful in her objection to bail for the trio, on the ground that they are flight risks and not likely to return for trial if granted pre-trial liberty.
The defendants were remanded to prison until January 14.
