Victim’s relatives appeal for help with Annandale murder

TWO days after Annandale, East Coast Demerara businessman Kamal Ramsahoye known as ‘Vicky’ was brutally murdered in his home, the police are yet to make an arrest. The victim suffered seven back wounds and three in his chest, confirming suspicions by his relatives that the killing was premeditated and perpetrated by person (s) known to Ramsahoye.
A post-mortem performed on the body revealed that he died as a result of shock and haemorrhage due to multiple stab wounds.
Relatives also believe that, since it was daylight when Ramsahoye was attacked and killed, the crime was witnessed by other residents who have not yet come forward to assist in solving the homicide.
The family is, therefore, appealing to persons who may have seen anything related to the crime to pass on the information to the police so that justice could be served.
Ramsahoye, 38, had been cleaning his yard early Sunday morning and preparing to open his grocery shop when he was attacked and robbed of cash and jewellery and succumbed to the injuries he suffered in the process.
