SEVERAL persons, including pregnant women, were last night rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital after the minibus they were travelling in was clipped by a car which drove away from the scene.
Reports suggested that the car was swerving along the East Coast Public Road in the vicinity of Atlantic Ville when the accident occurred.
Up to news time, the five persons were still receiving medical attention, while the conductor of the bus, Rodwyn Todd, was said to be in a critical condition.
The mini bus BKK1776 was at the time heading to Beterverwagting.
Last night several families members of the injured gathered at the GPH to get word on the condition of their loved ones.
