OMALO Williams (no address given) appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday, charged indictably with inflicting grievous bodily harm.
The charge said, last November 29, he unlawfully and maliciously inflicted the harm on Troy Garnett.
Police Corporal Vinetta Pindar, prosecuting, said the virtual complainant observed that the accused and another person was about to rob a man and admonished Williams not to commit the act.
The prosecutor said Williams became annoyed and cuffed Garnett on his jaw, causing it to break.
The prosecutor informed the court that the accused had previous charges of assault and robbery and he was ordered to post $75,000 bail until December 14.
