GUYANA Post Office Corporation (GPOC) has announced deadlines for Christmas posting. It said items intended to arrive in overseas administrations for December 25 must be posted on or before December 12.
Local mails should be posted by December 17, a release said, adding that adhering to the aforementioned dates will increase the guarantee of items arriving on time for the holidays.
However, persons may post prior to the specified deadlines but are reminded to ensure that addresses are correct and a return address is affixed.
The release said GPOC remains committed towards ensuring that mails are delivered on a timely basis.
