MEGA-STORE Courts Guyana Inc yesterday held a presentation ceremony for the fifth winner of the Courts Drive Away promotion  2012, Michelle Sharples Payne of Kitty, Georgetown, who won herself a new motor car in the promotion. The presentation was done in the compound of Courts on Main Street, Georgetown, with much fanfare. Payne chose a key to one of the four cars, and the key she had chosen opened the door of an orange-coloured  car.

Payne revealed that she was presented with coupons when she purchased a mattress among other items from Courts for the Christmas holidays.

According to Managing Director of Courts Guyana Inc., Clyde De Haas, many customers have responded favourably to this promotion, and sales for the Christmas season have since gone up tremendously.    
He indicated that the combined worth of the cars is approximately $22M, and this has been invested at the start of the promotion to underscore Courts’ interest in giving back to its customers.

All that is needed to enter the Courts Drive Away Promotion is for a customer to purchase any item from Courts valued at $5,000 or more, and collect a coupon which is to be filled out and dropped in entry boxes provided at all COURTS locations countrywide.
