A WOMAN facing assault and abuse language charges was ordered to post a total of $45,000 bail when she appeared, at Vigilance Court before Magistrate Zamilla Alli on Tuesday. According to Police Prosecutor Clement Roberts, investigations revealed that, on Saturday, November 24, at Melanie Damishana, also on East Coast Demerara, Wendy Robertson threw missiles to the annoyance of Joycelyn Augustin and abused her that same day.
Robertson, in her defence, claimed that Augustin was the aggressor and that she was only defending herself.
The cases will be called, again, on January 4, 2013. (Odella Patterson)
