Granger hungry for power

THE Guyana Chronicle, on Tuesday October 16th, reported that the  Indian Arrival Committee (IAC) has  written to the UN Human Rights Commissioner, Ms. Navanethem ‘Navi’ Pillay, about Opposition-led mayhem at Agricola.

It’s heartening to know some people are keeping scores and have the guts to speak out and let the rest of the world know about atrocities committed in Guyana.
What most Guyanese do not know is if government is doing the same, as the IAC did.
Most Guyanese would like to know if government is documenting these atrocities committed and if these are sent to the relevant authorities at the UN, as IAC did.
President Donald Ramotar himself said some of the architects and intellectual authors from past atrocities are still around and fuelling the flame.
Mr. President, some of these architects and intellectual authors are now being revealed to the public, such as Sharma Solomon, Vanessa Kissoon, David Hinds and Lincoln Lewis.
These architects take their cue from political heads such as Ramjattan, Nagamootoo, Roopnarine, Granger and Hughes.
Mr. President, things are not looking so good for the architects and intellectual authors on the commission of inquiry of Linden, since it was revealed that Vanessa Kissoon is lying through her teeth to the commissioners.
Mr. President, those Indians that were beaten and robbed in the Agricola protest will be a blip compared to what’s to come in the event the Linden ruling goes against the PNC.
Mr. President, most Guyanese know you can only fight the war with the army you have and not with the army you would like to have.
I am very much afraid with a man like Granger as head of the main opposition, PNC, who will not hesitate to do what he has to do in order to gain power.
Mr. President, the cries coming from Granger lately on how government can’t protect its people are becoming most frightening.
Please be advised, Mr. President, that the PNC leader wants power at all cost.
Mr. President, if your government fails to see what’s being played out at present then I am afraid of what’s to come.
I,  like most Guyanese, shudder with horror to think of this.
