A very sad time for Guyana

IF Dr. Roger Luncheon’s statement sparked fiery protest (as some are claiming), then I wonder what would have taken place all across Guyana when the opposition PNC said they will apply “slo fiah and mo fiah” and “make the country ungovernable” if the PPP/C wins the election and do not share power with PNC;  “there will be no Guyana.”

First it was Buxton, then they moved on to Linden, then now on to Agricola so the people are asking where next?
Blocking roads, burning tyres and placing debris across the road has nothing to do with legal protest.
It’s meant for one thing and one thing only and that is to rob innocent people, so their mission was accomplished.
Second mission accomplished is to demoralise the police so they will have to think millions of times over before trying to apprehend certain criminals even when police are facing the barrels of gun-toting criminals.
I said it before and will say it again, those who are stoking the fire for these lawless, frivolous and illegal protests will never be held accountable and this is why they could have moved from Buxton to Linden and now Agricola.
I wonder what would happen to me if I were to have tampered with a crime scene by removing a surveillance tape which could possibly identify a killer?
It was widely reported that a known prominent lawyer did exactly this but nothing happened to that lawyer.
I wonder what would have happened to me if I were heard on tape saying I will plant illegal drugs on someone when they come to the airport?
Well we all know what happened to that prominent lawyer, he is now an executive member of the AFC political party.
We also know what happened to the person who was heard on tape saying he will plant drugs on a citizen. He is now a PNC Member of Parliament.
Innocent people will continue to be robbed in broad day light when those who are hungry for power are not held accountable and responsible for their words and actions.
A very sad time for Guyana and Guyanese!
