POLICE ranks at a roadblock at Palmyra, East Berbice unearthed 489 grammes of cocaine when they stopped and searched motor car PPP 7192 at about 20:15 hrs on Friday.

Five men and a woman who were in the vehicle have been arrested, and are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
