FRANKLYN Wilson of Lot 82 South Sophia, Georgetown yesterday appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton on a charge of robbery with aggravation. He was not required to plead to the indictable charge, which stated that on August 17, at Main Street, Georgetown, being together with another, he robbed Dawnel Monplaisir of one Blackberry cellphone valued at $80,000, and one gold chain priced at $85,000.
Police Corporal Kerry Bostwick, prosecuting, had no objection to bail, but requested that the sum be substantial.
Wilson was placed on $60,000 bail, and the matter will be called again on October 3.
