Narcotics defendant remanded until Sept. 26

BEFORE Georgetown Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton yesterday, Adrian Green pleaded not guilty to being in possession of 345 grammes of cannabis on August 14 for the purpose of trafficking. Police Inspector Burgett Grant, prosecuting, asked that the defendant be remanded to prison, since no special reason was given for bail to be granted.
The application was granted, and the defendant was remanded to prison until September 26, when he will make another court appearance.
