THE Guyana Agricultural and General Workers Union (GAWU) yesterday held the drawing of its special raffle on the ground floor of Fogarty’s. With over 21,500 raffle tickets sold, the union was able to raise just over $2M. The ticket numbers of the lucky winners were announced yesterday. A total of 37 prizes were at stake, including 25 consolation prizes of $5,000 each. A motor cycle, refrigerator, and gas stove were also among the 12 other significant prizes up for grabs.
