Security Forces are said to be in control of most of Linden, as they continue to clear blockades, despite violent attacks from protesters reports say. Up to early Tuesday the joint services were continuing their efforts to remove blockades, however there were reports of some of the blockades being replaced at various points.
Meanwhile, police have confirmed that they arrested a man with a quantity of Kerosene and two cigarette lighters in the Wee Hours of Tuesday.
However, the man claimed that he was just running an errant.
It is unclear, whether or not he will be charged.
However the joint services manage to keep the Wismar/McKenzie Bridge open and traffic is said to be flowing around the mining town, but at a slow pace.
Up to late Sunday the joint Services On Monday government’s spokesman Dr Roger Luncheon had said businesses were opening up their doors, while some banks opted not to opening up fully, but rather ensure that their ATMs are replenished with cash. (Inews)
