LATIZA Nichols (no address given) appeared yesterday before Georgetown Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton, charged with unlawfully wounding Kwame Nichols on August 2 at South Road, Bourda, Georgetown. Kwame Nichols was charged with common assault, allegedly maliciously and unlawfully committed on Latiza Nichols.
Each party pleaded not guilty to their respective charge, and then informed the court that they no longer wished to proceed with the matter, since it was a family affair and they have decided to deal with it outside of the court system.
After cautioning them about the seriousness of their behaviour, the magistrate dismissed the matter as a result of settlement.
