Marics & Co unveils new CRV with fantastic features

STAFFERS of Marics & Company Limited yesterday officially launched the Honda dream vehicle, the CR-V 2012, to the driving public. The launch was done at the National Park, and the CR-V is now available for purchase at Marics & Company Limited at 186-187 Charlotte Street, Lacytown Georgetown.
During the launch, Operations Manager at Marics, Mr Winston Willabus, disclosed that the Honda CR-V has been the best selling sport utility vehicle (SUV) in America for the past four years.
For 2012, he added, critical upgrades were made to virtually every aspect of the winning formula of the vehicle, resulting in the production of this 2012 version, which he described as a perfect gem in terms of fuel economy, interior décor, electronics, and handling and safety in keeping with the famed high standards of Honda.
Some features of the vehicle are top class fuel efficiency, front and side airbags, and a wide range of electronics.
Willabus explained: “You  go too quickly into a turn, the sensors in the wheel will pick it up and try to assist you with the steering; you go onto a hard surface, the CR-V  switches automatically into two-wheel drive; you go into a rough surface, the CR-V  automatically goes into four-wheel drive; you drive and you stop with the engine idling, the sensors pick up that the engine is not doing much work and one of the two intake valves shuts down; the vehicle  just ticking on one valve, using less fuel; when you get going again, and need power, the CR-V opens up the second valve. Your wheels get soft, the warning lights start blinking to indicate this,”
“There is also a telephone bluetooth feature in which you inform the electronic system in the vehicle who you want to call.
“If you want to call John and there are four Johns in your phonebook, the electronic system asks you which John you want to call. You tell the system which John you want it to call, and it makes the call and you can converse with the other party without taking your eyes off the road, or your hands off the wheel. And these are just a few of the features which make this a fun and safe vehicle to drive,” he said.
Relative to price, Mr. Willabus said the Honda CR-V is very competitive, with all its substantial value.
