I have learnt over the years that the British are masters at preservation of historical artifacts and my passion for collecting such items has definitely got to be from my learning and research of such facts. I am indebted to the British for helping me to understand the importance of preservation. This is also very important to anyone who has undertaken the task of becoming a tourism advocate for their respective destinations.
Guyana has just lost one of its historical religious buildings (St. Barnabas Church, Regent Street) from a private business arrangement, but on the other hand, all may not have been lost.
After perusing historical documents that I came by over the years, I just found out that I am in possession of a baptism certificate dated 1899 and is now available for viewing.
