Equal payment for electricity is a must for all

THE Guyana government expressed regret at the loss of life in protests at Linden on Wednesday over the increase in power tariffs. The leaders of the PNC and all instigators must be hauled in and severely punished for these unfortunate deaths. Once police advise you to disperse then you should do so immediately.
Those who are pushing their political agenda to make the country ungovernable must never be allowed ever again to spew their poison and must be dealt with accordingly.
If nothing is done, then these protests will become larger and larger and spread to other parts of Guyana where many innocent people will be hurt.
APNU, which is really PNC and the AFC, along with the privately owned media such as Stabroek News and Kaieteur News cannot avoid blame for these unfortunate developments.
Members of Parliament (MPs), activists and extremists are allowed to lead protests against a thoughtful and sensitive programme for the gradual reform of the provision of electricity to the Linden community to deteriorate to such a point of violence and destruction.
The private media not once ever said this is total discrimination by government over all other Guyanese in favour of Lindeners.
The private media would never inform the misguided how unfair it is for Lindeners to pay five dollars per kw hour and to use three and four times the amount of electricity over all other Guyanese who must fork out a whopping sixty five dollar per kw hour.
Stabroek News instead keeps pushing the Linden agenda on a daily basis especially their blog section where paid bloggers are allowed to cuss out cane cutters daily.
If Linden is such a depressed community and unemployment is high then, that means that Lindeners do not pay taxes while cane cutters do pay taxes but are not allowed to pay five dollars per Kw hour for electricity usage.
SN pushes their racist agenda through its blog site where it’s like an open book for all to see every single day since it started it’s blog site.
Bet you Lincoln Lewis would not send a report to UN about what he writes in SN letter section and what goes on SN blog site.
It is hoped that people who are so misguided finally come to their senses and let peace prevail all across Guyana.
Like how they say equal justice for all then equal payment for electricity is a must for all.
