I WOULD like to compliment the writer, Mr. Robert Gates, on his column (Home Invasion Techniques), dated Sunday, June 24, 2012. I believe that article can make a lot of difference in the lives of many, once those techniques are put into practice.

Gates, in his column, gave first-hand tips on how to deal with issues that affect all of us in everyday life, one way or the other.

I was born in Guyana, and migrated to London 30 years ago. However, as a security expert myself, I can relate to many of the issues Gates dealt with in his column.

I would like to recommend that Gates, on behalf of his company (Strategic Advisory Services), continue to write on such techniques and security measures.
It will benefit not only Guyanese, but persons in the wider horizon.
