IN an appraisal of events after the assassination of Dr Walter Rodney, Peeping Tom of Kaieteur News, on June 16, rightfully referred to the now fragmented WPA as a great betrayer of its former leader. Certainly, our illustrious Dr Walter Rodney would be turning in his grave to know that, in order to now get some material benefits, his once close associates of the Alliance have taken the traitorous route to declare that they had amassed weapons to fight the PNC.
In such a serious situation, the PNC would have definitely been foolhardy to cohabit with those betrayers, unless they made more tangible moves, like handing over those weapons to the PNC, before that party could have trusted them to widen its doors to usher them into a renovated structure, now called APNU. After all, there are very shrewd, trained weapon handlers at the helm there.
