BCB says thanks

THE Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) and the Berbice Chamber of Commerce and Development Association (BCCDA) organised and hosted the first Independence T20 Cup on May 26 at Albion – an event that was well received and celebrated by the public who are expectantly awaiting the next one. Nature over-blessed the event with too much rain. However, herculean work by the organisers and cricketers enabled play to start promptly at 15:00hrs.
The BCB is ever grateful to all the cricketers who participated in the tournament, especially those unselfish cricketers from Berbice who resolutely assisted the few executives and ground staff in the mopping up.

A very, very big Thank You.
The BCB would further like to thank the hundreds who braved the weather, sponsors, the Regional Chairman, Minister of Youth and Sport, Albion Estate for the use of the Complex, the ground staff, Universal DVD, Karibee Rice, Hits and Jam, New Line Cavaliers, the media, police, artistes and the many who worked tirelessly to deliver a well-organised event.
The BCB would like to acknowledge the honour and pleasure of working with the Berbice Chamber of Commerce and Development Association and hopes that we undertake many more ventures in the future.
