DAVID Nurse (no address given) appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday, charged with conspiracy and uttering a forged document. He pleaded not guilty to the charges, one of which said, between May 17 and June 13, he conspired together with persons unknown to forge a driver’s licence, purporting to show that it was issued by the Licence Revenue Office, knowing that to be false.
The other charge said, also on June 13, with intent to defraud, he uttered, to a police constable, a forged driver’s licence knowing it to be a forgery.
He was granted $100,000 bail until June 18.
