Thereafter, the court will be adjourned to the  following day when  government  pathologist, Dr. Nehaul Singh,  who had  performed the post mortem on  the deceased, will testify.
After the testimony of the doctor is completed, it is expected that the prosecutor will close the case for the prosecution, after which  Mr. Compton  Richardson, defence counsel, will make his decision in relation to the defence.
The facts of the case as disclosed by witnesses say that on the evening of April 9, 2007, the accused Eon Williams, the deceased Kwasi Wilson, and one Jermaine were at the home of another friend Kirk Lachish, at 11 Railway Line, Kitty.
There, at about 10.30 p.m. the deceased Wilson, and the accused Williams got into an argument about the death of Clifton Garraway.
The deceased was seen taking out a knife from his waist. They were pushing and tugging each other. The accused eventually got cut on his left palm and threw his knife on the ground.
The deceased then went into Kirk’s house nearby and the accused followed him.  They again started to fight and Kirk Lachish parted them and told them that if they wanted to fight, they would have to leave his house.  They both left at about 11: 45 p.m.
Shondelle Wilson, the sister of the deceased, stated that on April 9, 2007, at about  23:00hrs, she was at home at Sandy Babb Street, in her bedroom,  when she heard loud talking  from outside on the road.  She recognised the voice of the deceased. She peeped through her bedroom window and saw the accused, whom  she  knew for a number  of years, and the deceased standing close together.
She left her room and went to open the front door. Then she saw the accused running and Kwasi came into the yard holding his tummy.
Ryan Wilson, brother of the deceased, was also home at the time, when he saw the deceased with his intestines protruding.
Shondelle and Ryan took Kwasi to the Woodlands Hospital where a doctor examined him and pronounced him dead.
Witnesses went to the police station where they reported the matter.
According to the post mortem, the deceased had two incised wounds. The cause of death was given as perforation of the aorta due to stab wound.
