Gov’t approves commercial helicopter licencing

THE  Government yesterday announced that it has approved commercial licencing and operation of helicopters in Guyana. Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr. Roger Luncheon noted that licencing was temporarily being granted with a requirement for security clearance of the operator or the licencee.
This decision for commercial licencing imposes on the licencee, mandatory technical and electronic support for the identification of the vessel in flight, in addition to all other requirements for licencing, Luncheon told reporters.
