WINSTON Frank (no address given) was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment and fined $7,500 Thursday, for being in illegal possession of ammunition. Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton imposed the penalties on him after he pleaded guilty to the offence, particulars of which said, on May 17, he had one ‘9.1C.B.C’ round and one yellow 20-gauge cartridge, without being the holder of a firearm licence.
Police Corporal Simone Payne, prosecuting, said Police had gone to the prisoner’s home and a search yielded the ammunition, to which Frank admitted ownership.
