COULD anyone say when the new ferries which would ply the Parika/Supenaam route go into operation? The last thing we heard was that the crews that would be manning these ferries are being trained and there is some work to be completed on the Parika Stelling to accommodate these ferries.
These ferries are here for a couple of months now and it is hoped that they do not have to be overhauled by the time they go into operation.
