A POST mortem examination, performed on the body of ex-policeman Ignatius Sandy, 60, of Parika Outfall, disclosed that he died as a result of a broken neck. He had been the victim of a hit and run incident on Zeelugt Public Road, also on the East Bank Essequibo, where his corpse was discovered with injuries to the head.
Police said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery that was made about 05:20 hrs on April 23.
