MINISTER within the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Alli Baksh will be visiting Region Two (Pomeroon/Supenaam) for five days, from tomorrow, April 28. A release from his office said he will meet with farmers and residents of Riverstown, Adventure and Airy Hall, on, Saturday morning and, in the afternoon, visit the Ituribisi Conservancy.
On Sunday, he will address farmers and residents of Lima Sands and Dredge Creek at a community meeting.
The Minister will, on Monday, speak to farmers at Jacklow and Abrams Creek in upper Pomeroon River before inspecting National Drainage and Irrigation Agency (NDIA) projects.
The release also said Baksh will attend Labour Day activities on May 1 at Anna Regina and, on Wednesday, meet with acquaculture farmers at Anna Regina before meeting with cooperative society groups in the Regional Democratic Council (RDC) boardroom.
