LAURIE Jonas (no address given) has been charged with dangerous driving, following an accident on April 17 at Industry Railway Embankment. He appeared before Magistrate Alex Moore at Sparendaam Court, also on East Coast Demerara, where he pleaded not guilty to driving in a manner dangerous to the public and colliding with another motor vehicle driven by Shaffiek Mohammed.
Jonas was represented by attorney-at-law Mr. Satyesh Kissoon, who secured self-bail for him until May 11.
