InterMoengotapoe looking for revenge against Milerock; Alpha United face Hubentut Fortuna
ACTION in Group Two of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Club Championship continues today with what is expected to be an intriguing
double-header at the Guyana National Stadium. In the opening match of the day which gets under way at 16:00hrs Milerock face a raging InterMoengotapoe side then the night wraps up
when the Curacao side Hubentut Fortuna take on Alpha United at 18:00hrs.
Milerock is expected to be fighting off a fierce Suriname side since they were responsible for thwarting the opposition’s plans to
advance to the next round of the championship last year.
InterMoengotapoe got off to a good start in this year’s championship with a 1-0 victory over Guyana’s top side Alpha United on Tuesday
at the national stadium while Milerock suffered a 1-2 defeat at the hands of the Curacao team.
In the feature match of the evening, Hubentut Fortuna will be brimming with confidence following their win while Alpha will enter this
match under some pressure in a must-win situation if they want to keep their hopes alive.
